  • New York Red Bulls II (1-0-1, 4 points) played to a 1-1 draw with Nashville SC on Saturday afternoon at MSU Soccer Park, on the campus of Montclair State University. NYRB II fell behind in the first half but pulled level on a second-half goal from Brian White.
  • Nashville scored in the 21st minute, when Daniel Rios cashed in on an errant back pass. Rios was able to avoid goalkeeper Evan Louro and finish into the empty net.
  • Brian White scored to tie the match at one in the 55th minute, heading home a cross from Marcus Epps for his first of the season.
  • Epps got his second assist of the USL season after a goal-and-assist performance in the season opener.
  • Edgardo Rito made his NYRB II debut in the match. The 23-year-old Venezuelan signed with NYRB II prior to the start of the season.
  • NYRB II is back in action Friday night, when Memphis 901 FC visits MSU Soccer Park for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
