INSIDE THE 18: Tom Barlow Gets First MLS Start -

Tom Barlow was signed to a Major League Soccer deal on Wednesday morning and will get first start with the first team on Wednesday night.

Barlow, who currently leads the USL Championship with eight goals, was drafted by the Red Bulls in 2018. He scored 10 goals for New York Red Bulls II last season.

New York will roll with three centerbacks again on Wednesday night, with Amro Tarek, Aaron Long and Tim Parker, all flanked by Kemar Lawrence and Connor Lade.

Luis Robles will captain the side and start in goal.

Head Coach Chris Armas will have Derrick Etienne Jr., Kaku, Omir Fernandez, Cristian Casseres Jr., Mathias Jørgensen and Michael Amir Murillo available off the bench. Ryan Meara will serve as the backup goalkeeper.

Bradley Wright-Phillips remains out with a groin injury, while Brian White recently took a knock in training.

Opening kick is slated for 8 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG+, MSG Go and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.
