New York Red Bulls' 11 Days of Service Community Initiative Returns for Seventh Year

11 Days 2019

Harrison, NJ (Sept 9, 2019) - For the seventh consecutive year, the New York Red Bulls kicked off its annual 11 Days of Service today, Monday September 9, with a visit to Partnerships for Parks at Tompkins Square Park in New York City. The Red Bulls created the 11 Days of Service initiative to run in conjunction with September 11 - the national day of service and remembrance.

Rather than participate in just one day of service, Red Bulls players, coaches and front office staff will participate in 11 different community activations as a tribute to both the victims and survivors from the attacks of September 11, 2001.

"This organization takes great pride in our collective commitment to the community," said Marc de Grandpre, General Manager, New York Red Bulls. "11 Days of Service has become the pillar of our club's philanthropic initiatives.Throughout the month, our players, coaches, front office staff and valued partners take action in assisting our neighbors to honor the heroes from the tragic events of 9/11."
