HARRISON, N.J. (September 11, 2019) – New York Red Bulls II will return home to host Charlotte Independence on Friday, September 13, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET. The match can be seen live on ESPN+.
NYRB II are coming off a 1-0 loss to Indy Eleven at Lucas Oil Stadium, which was only their sixth loss of the season.
The last time these two clubs met was on April 13. NYRB II defeated Charlotte, 2-1, with Tom Barlow recording a brace, and his second multi-goal game of the season. NYRB II and Charlotte are split in the overall series history with a 3-3-3 record.
Charlotte Independence are currently on an eight-game winless streak, which stems back to July 13. They most recently suffered their 12th loss of the season, which was a 3-1 defeat at home against Tampa Bay Rowdies. Dominic Oduro leads the team with seven goals scored this season.
NYRB II will take on Saint Louis FC on Wednesday, September 18 at West Community Stadium, with kick-off set for 8 p.m. ET.
