HARRISON, N.J. (October 24, 2019) - New York Red Bulls II travel to Indianapolis to take on Indy Eleven in the quarterfinals of the 2019 USL Championship quarterfinals. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET at IUPUI Carroll Stadium with coverage available on ESPN+.
NYRB II suffered a 7-3 loss to Loudoun United FC in their last outing. They are currently winless in their last six matches
These two sides have met twice this season with each club winning on their home field. First, NYRB II defeated Indy Eleven at MSU Soccer Park on April 28, when Tom Barlow scored the game-winner in the 69th minute. Then, Indy Eleven won on September 4th defeating NYRB II, 1-0, from an 82nd minute goal from Dane Kelly.
NYRB II have a 7-2-3 all-time playoff record, while also having a 4-0-0 record in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Indy Eleven will be seeking the club’s first ever playoff victory.
Indy Eleven finished off their regular season with a 2-1 win over Swope Park Rangers at Lucas Oil Stadium. They finished third in the Eastern Conference standings with 63 points.
Following Saturday’s match, the winner will advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals, playing the winner of Nashville SC and North Carolina FC, with a date and time to be determined.
