HARRISON, N.J. (July 2, 2020) - New York Red Bulls II and the USL Championship unveiled the return to play schedule today. NYRB II will embark on a 15-match campaign in search of their sixth-consecutive playoff appearance. The season opener against Tampa Bay Rowdies will count in terms of overall standings.
NYRB II will open the season at Red Bull Arena against Hartford Athletic on July 17.
New York Red Bulls II will host the remainder of their home matches at Red Bull Arena for the 2020 season. For the health and safety of all involved, and in an attempt to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community, all home matches will be closed to the public.
“We felt with the current environment this was the best opportunity to provide a safe setting for our team and opponents to continue the remainder of the 2020 season,” NYRB II General Manager Jamie Ponce said. “NYRBII member holders will be able to roll over their current ticket plans into 2021 at the same rate paid this season.”
NYRB II will close out the season at home against Hartford Athletic on October 4.
