HARRISON, N.J. (September 14, 2020) - New York Red Bulls II will travel to Dillon Stadium to face Hartford Athletic on Wednesday, September 16. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET, with coverage available on ESPN+.
NYRB II secured their fourth win of the season against Philadelphia Union II on Wednesday, September 9. In their first match back at MSU Soccer Park, NYRB II recorded six goals, with forward Omar Sowe scoring his first professional hat trick. Goalkeeper Wallis Lapsley recorded his first career shutout.
The last time these two sides met, Hartford Athletic defeated NYRB II, 2-1, at Dillon Stadium on August 15. Sebastian Elney recorded his third goal of the season.
This will be the third match of the season between these two sides. Hartford Athletic are currently second in Group F, and are coming off a 5-0 loss against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.
Following Wednesday’s match, NYRB II will head to Fifth Third Bank Stadium to battle Atlanta United 2 on September 23.
