Academy Match Recap: 10/31 & 11/1

New York Red Bulls Academy teams had a 2-1-3 record on the weekend with a total of 13 goals scored and 13 goals allowed.


Red Bulls U-17ā€™s suffered only their second loss of the season losing to Philadelphia Union, 3-2. JC Cortez recorded the lone goal for the club in the first half, while Serge Ngoma kept them in the match scoring his sixth goal of the season in the second half. The U-17ā€™s now have a 5-2 record in the fall season.


Red Bulls U-15ā€™s tied Philadelphia Union on Saturday, 1-1. The U-15ā€™s went down in the first half but fought back in the second. Henry Weston scored his eighth goal of the season with Copeland Berkley providing the assist. The U-15ā€™s have the most goals scored by any age level with 44.


Red Bulls U-14ā€™s are now at an 8-1-2 record after tying PDA this weekend, 2-2. The U-14ā€™s led going into the half after Jaylen Lester scored his fourth goal of the season. In the second half, they gave up two goals before Jeremy Munoz leveled the match. Munoz scored his fifth goal of the season.


Red Bulls U-13ā€™s defeated STA U-14ā€™s, 1-0. Patrick Kolano scored the game-winning goal in the second half, which was his fourth goal of the season. The U-13ā€™s now have the most wins by one of our teams with 10.


Red Bulls U-12 Red tied Philadelphia Union, 4-4. Hudson Sherwood, Vinny Firreto, Luke Lee, and Michael Leandrou all scored a goal apiece. Jonathan Condor added two assists and Tafsir Diop also recorded an assist. Red Bulls U-12 Grey defeated Philadelphia Union U-11ā€™s, 4-3. Darius Millington recorded a brace, while Matt Dowling and Mateo Castro added the other goals. Riku Hirano, Finn Marah, and Isaac Rakovsky all had assists in the victory.
