2014: Made six substitute appearances during the MLS regular season… loaned to New York Cosmos of the NASL on July 28, 2014; Recalled on loan from the Cosmos in mid-September. Named to roster for MLS Chipotle Homegrown game in July... Playoffs: Replaced Tim Cahill in the 89th minute on October 26 in New York 2-1 Eastern Conference knockout round win over Sporting Kansas City. Came on as a late sub in 2-2 draw in second leg of Eastern Conference Finals at New England… Champions League: started on September 17 in New York’s 1-0 loss in CCL group play at Montreal, shown a red card in the 76th minute and was unavailable for New York’s match against C.D. FAS on September 24. 2012: Unheralded signing who played in 26 out of 34 regular-season games, making 22 starts, as a rookie and finished fifth in voting for MLS Rookie of the Year award … Finished the season with three assists … Made his MLS and Red Bulls debut as a substitute on April 14 in a 2-2 draw vs. San Jose at Red Bull Arena … Made his first career MLS start on April 22 at D.C. United … He registered his first career assist, setting up Thierry Henry for the game's only goal, in 1-0 win vs. New England on April 28 … Assisted on both goals in 2-0 win vs. Philadelphia on July 21 … Playoffs: Started both playoff matches against D.C. Lade earned his first call-up to the United States national team on Jan. 6, 2013, for training camp in Carson, Calif. … He was named to the squad’s 23-man roster ahead of the Jan. 29 friendly against Canada but did not appear … Was called into U.S. U-20 national team camp while in college but did not appear.


Born in Livingston, N.J., Lade attended Morristown High School, located in the same county as the Red Bulls' training complex in East Hanover.
