Newly signed winger Andreas Ivan has joined the Red Bulls after receiving his P-1 visa. The Romanian winger, signed on a free transfer after playing professionally in Germany, is expected to begin training with the Red Bulls this week.
Ivan, 23, has nearly 100 professional appearances since earning his first pro contract with Stuttgart. He spent last season with SV Waldhof Mannheim, recording eight goals and six assists in 36 games played.
The Red Bulls will head to Chicago this weekend to take on The Fire at Toyota Park. Kickoff on Saturday, August 11 is set for 8:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG and Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish.
