Cristian Cásseres Jr. made his Copa América debut with Venezuela on Sunday evening and played 84 minutes. Although Venezuela lost 3-0 against Brazil, La Vinotinto gave a valiant effort.
Cásseres Jr. finished the game with eight ground duels won, three tackles and three successful dribble attempts. The RBNY midfielder was in charge of taking all of Venezuela’s set pieces.
Venezuela’s next opponent will be Colombia on June 17. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. ET.
