CASTROL INDEX: Bradley Wright-Phillips climbs to the summit in Week 10

In a weekend dominated by goals, it's perhaps fitting that players who scored dueling hat tricks top the Castrol Index Weekly Top 20. But unlike the wild 5-4 win by the Chicago Fire over the New York Red Bulls, it is a Red Bulls player, Bradley Wright-Phillips, who comes out on top, at least according to the Castrol Index.

Wright-Phillips continued his hot streak in recent games with a three-goal performance against the Fire, and pipped his hat-trick counterpart in that game, Harry Shipp, to claim top spot for Week 10. The third player to notch a hat trick on the week, Javier Morales in Real Salt Lake's 5-2 win over the Houston Dynamo, was No. 6.
Rounding out the Top 5 are Dynamo forward Mark Sherrod (No. 3), who had two goals in the loss to RSL, New England Revolution goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth (No. 4), who helped his team shut out the previously-potent Seattle Sounders, and Colorado Rapids 'keeper Clint Irwin (No. 5), following his remarkable performance to preserve a scoreless draw midweek against the San Jose Earthquakes.
