"I was born and raised in Abidjan, a city in Côte d’Ivoire, and moved to the U.S. as a teenager. Growing up, soccer was a passion more than anything, something that my family, friends, and I would play, talk about, and watch at all times. Coming from a military family, moving was second nature to me, but no matter where we went, soccer remained my universal language, helping me forge connections instantly in new environments.
I started coaching fairly young while I was playing college soccer in Indiana. Looking back, I was mainly copying all the amazing coaches I had the privilege to play under. The transition from player to coach came with doubts, especially being barely older than my first team of players. Yet the amazing attitude and desire I saw from these players wanting to learn from me was something that fueled me.
Joining Red Bull marked an important chapter in my coaching journey. Here, I found an environment that continuously challenges me to deepen my coaching perspective. The community of passionate coaches who tirelessly pursue excellence continues to inspire me daily—their dedication pushes me to constantly refine my approach. What keeps me stepping onto the field each day? It's witnessing the profound connections that form through this beautiful game. It's seeing the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance take root in players' lives both on and off the pitch. This transformative power of soccer fuels my commitment to bring my absolute best to every training session, every match, and every interaction with my players."
