AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 28
Four of the five Goal of the Week nominees hail from the Western Conference - but that doesn't necessarily mean the winner will.
Eric Alexander, the lone Eastern Conference goalscorer included in this week's voting, has been nominated for the MLSsoccer.com Goal of the Week.
Alexander's finish came in the 14th minute of Sunday's 4-1 win over the Houston Dynamo after he played a little give-and-go with midfielder Jonny Steele before firing a scorcher from distance that beat goalkeeper Tally Hall. The goal was his third of the season and allowed the Red Bulls to take an early 1-0 lead.
