The New York Red Bulls closed out the regular season on Sunday with an impressive 2-0 win at Sporting Park over Sporting Kansas City. With the win, the Red Bulls jumped up to the fourth seed in the East and earned home field advantage for Thursday’s single knockout match against Sporting KC.
The winner of that match will face the top-seeded D.C. United in the two-leg Eastern Conference Semifinals Series. New York would host the first leg on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 4:00 PM at Red Bull Arena (TV: MSG).
