Home Field Advantage

For the past decade, New York has proven their home field dominance over New England. The Red Bulls have not lost a home game to the Revolution since July of 2007; since then New York has either won (8 games) or drawn (4 games) the past 12 home games they have played against New England at home.

RBNY has never lost to the Revolution at Red Bull Arena since it opened in 2010. The Red Bulls have also yet to lose a Saturday night home game this season.

Goal Scorers

Of the matches RBNY has played this season, they have scored one or more goals in 15 of 18 games. The team has scored 37 goals this season, coming from 12 different players on the roster.

Bradley Wright-Phillips, Carlos Rivas, Marc Rzatkowski, and Daniel Royer (Open Cup match) have all recorded at least one brace this season. Additionally, BWP is only two goals away from the century mark for goals scored in MLS. He is also currently second in goals scored at this point of the season.

Red Bulls > Revolution

New York’s statistics take the lead over New England’s this season. RBNY (35 points) currently sits third in the Eastern Conference standings; the Revolution (28 points) are placed fifth.

The Red Bulls lead New England in goals (37-32), assists (48-32), total points (122-96), wins (11-7), shots on goals (114-109), saves (63-62), and shutouts (6-4) so far this season.

Rematch

The Red Bulls fell 2-1, in their first matchup against New England at Gillette Stadium earlier this season.

This Saturday, New York will look to create more Red Bull Arena magic, and seek a different result this time around against the Revolution.

Strong Roster

Red Bulls players have definitely proven their skills this season and they dominate all over the field. Sixteen different players have been named to the MLS Team of the Week this season. Of those 16, six players have qualified for the team of the week more than once.
