Following a full match of rest in the New York Red Bulls midweek victory, Bradley Wright-Phillips and Kaku are both back in the Starting XI for Head Coach Chris Armas.
Kaku is joined in the midfield by Daniel Royer and Derrick Etienne, Jr., with Wright-Phillips at forward.
Sean Davis and Marc Rzatkowski will anchor the defensive midfield for New York.
Connor Lade, Fidel Escobar, Aaron Long and Kemar Lawrence will start along the back line. Lade and Escobar both start after helping to keep the Houston Dynamo off the scoresheet on Wednesday.
Luis Robles captains the team and starts in goal.
Ryan Meara is available as backup goalkeeper, with Michael Amir Murillo, Tim Parker, Cristian Casseres, Jr., Andreas Ivan, Alex Muyl and Brian White available off the bench.
Tyler Adams did not travel with the team after going the full 90 in four straight starts in 12 days.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn. Coverage of Saturday’s match on MSG begins at 7 p.m. with Honda Red Bulls Game Night. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.
New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 7 p.m. ET with Honda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play broadcast, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
