Bracing for a primetime, national TV matchup, Head Coach Chris Armas is rolling with his most-used lineup.
With Bradley Wright-Phillips sitting on 100 regular season MLS goals, he will get the nod at forward.
Playing in the midfield will be Daniel Royer, Marc Rzatkowski, Kaku, Tyler Adams and Sean Davis.
Four across the back on the defense will see Kemar Lawrence, Tim Parker, Aaron Long and Michael Amir Murillo start for New York.
Only days after Adams, Long and Murillo started for the MLS All-Stars against Juventus, all three will start for the Red Bulls.
Ready between the sticks will be Luis Robles, who will also serve as captain.
Every fan is encouraged to help honor Wright-Phillips following the match, where there will be a ceremony for the Englishman breaking the MLS fastest-to-100-goals record.
Veritable options off the bench for Armas are Ryan Meara as backup keeper, with Fidel Escobar, Aurelien Collin, Connor Lade, Alex Muyl, Derrick Etienne, Jr., and Brian White available. White will make the 18-man gameday roster for the first time after being signed to the first team on Saturday.
Every time the Red Bulls are on national TV, BWP shines brightest. In 24 matches played on either FOX or FS1, Wright-Phillips has tallied 19 goals and four assists
Red Bulls and LAFC kick off from Red Bull Arena at 6 p.m. on FS1, Fox Sports Go and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish.
