Head Coach Chris Armas has made a couple of changes to the Starting XI for Wednesday's matchup against D.C. United, inserting both Derrick Etienne, Jr. and Alex Muyl.
The two return to the Starting XI and will be on the left and right wing of Bradley Wright-Phillips, who enters tonight's matchup one goal away from hitting the century mark.
The Red Bulls and D.C. United will faceoff for the 75th time in series history. It will also be the 17th time that these two teams will battle for the Atlantic Cup, with D.C. taking it home 10 times, while the Red Bulls have won six times, including five of the last eight.
The backline will be manned by Kemar Lawrence, Aaron Long, Michael Amir Murillo and Tim Parker.
Luis Robles will captain the side and start in goal for the Red Bulls.
Tyler Adams and Sean Davis, will occupy the Red Bulls’ central defensive midfield.
Kaku, who leads MLS with 12 assists on the season, will also be on the pitch at the starting whistle.
Ryan Meara will serve as the backup goalkeeper with Cristian Cásseres, Jr., Aurélien Collin, Fidel Escobar, Ethan Kutler, Danny Royer and Marc Rzatkowski available as subs off the bench.
The Red Bulls and D.C. United kickoff at 8 p.m. on MSG, as well as on New York Red Bulls Radio in both English and Spanish.
