New York Red Bulls II host the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Saturday afternoon at MSU Soccer Park.
Goalkeeper AJ Marcucci will get the start in net, bringing his season total to six out of a possible seven matches. He will also wear the captain’s armband.
The backline is anchored in the middle by Juan Castillo, Lamine Conte, and Christopher Cragwell. Castillo will make his team-leading seventh start, and Cragwell returns to the starting group for the first time since March 19.
Jason Pendant and O’Vonte Mullings will likely serve as wingbacks, each making their sixth start of the campaign.
For the second-consecutive match, Steven Sserwadda and Daniel Edelman will reside in the defensive midfield.
After making his club debut last match, Jesús Castellano will once again serve as an attacking midfielder.
Jeremy Rafanello and Jonathan Filipe lead the charge up front.
Gary Lewis will have JC Cortez, Daniel De Leon, Sam Williams, Michael Knapp, John Murphy, and Jordan Adebayo-Smith available off the bench. Derrek Chan will serve as the backup goalkeeper.
