New York Red Bulls II will travel to face Louisville City FC on Saturday, July 9, at Lynn Family Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on ESPN+.
Sekagya’s First Match – The match will mark the first for Interim Head Coach Ibrahim Sekagya, who took on the role on July 2. Sekagya is in his eighth season with Red Bulls II as an Assistant Coach and helped guide New York to its 2016 USL Championship.
A Strong Test – New York will face a Louisville side that sits at the top of the Eastern Conference with 11 victories on the season. Louisville is tied for fourth in USL Championship with 34 goals and has conceded the second fewest at 14.
O’Vonte’s Impact – At the halfway point of his first professional season, O’Vonte Mullings has started all 15 of his appearances and logged 1,311 minutes, ranking second on the team. He also leads the team in assists with three.
