The New York Red Bulls (0-0-1, 1 pts.) will travel to Shell Energy Stadium for the first time since 2019 to face off against Houston Dynamo FC.

Here are the Keys to the Game, presented by Toyota:

Dash Dynamo

The New York Red Bulls will look to keep their regular season road unbeaten streak alive against the Dynamo in Texas.

New York are currently on a five-match MLS regular season road unbeaten streak, which dates back to September 16, 2023, with a record of 3-0-2. RBNY hold a 12-6-9 record all-time against Houston.

Tolkin To Go?

John Tolkin wasn’t able to go in the season opener against Nashville SC but could be back on the pitch versus Houston Dynamo.

Tolkin has recorded 15 assists across all competitions in his career for New York, which is tied for the franchise lead as a defender. Tolkin has recorded a goal or an assist in three straight
MLS road matches.

Post Problems

New York found the woodwork on multiple occasions in their first match and will look to score early and often against a Houston team dealing with injuries and schedule congestion due to Concacaf Champions Cup play.

Emil Forsberg, Dante Vanzeir and Frankie Amaya all hit posts or crossbars in Tennessee. All three will look to find the net in Texas.
