The Red Bulls have posted a 2-6-5 mark in Houston with their last win at Houston coming in 2013. New York faced off against Houston last season at Red Bull Arena, where they tied 1-1 on April 15, 2023. New York are currently on a five-match MLS regular season road unbeaten streak that dates back to September 16, 2023. The Dynamo recorded a 1-1 draw against Sporting KC in their 2024 MLS season opener.
Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel recorded his 31st career MLS shutout with the Red Bulls in the club’s 0-0 draw against Nashville SC on Sunday. Coronel has now posted 14 shutouts on the road in his MLS career. The Paraguayan goalkeeper has recorded three straight MLS regular season clean sheets – the shutouts came against Toronto FC on October 7, 2023 and two against Nashville SC on October 21, 2023 and Sunday.
