The New York Red Bulls (3-5-7, 16 pts.) finish up a two-match road stand with a matchup against Inter Miami CF (5-9-0, 15 pts.) on Wednesday, May 31 at DRV PNK Stadium. This will be the seventh overall regular season meeting between New York and Miami, with the Red Bulls holding the advantage with a 4-2-0 mark. The Red Bulls have posted a 2-1-0 mark in Miami and have gained results in three of their last four MLS matches. Inter Miami CF currently sit in 15th place in the Eastern Conference and have lost their last three MLS matches, including a 1-0 loss to CF Montreal on Saturday, May 27. Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel has played in three career matches against Inter Miami CF and has posted two shutouts and recorded three wins. With a start in Wednesday’s match, Coronel will tie Tim Howard for third place in franchise history in games started in goal. The Brazilian has helped lead New York to only allowed 13 goals this season, which ranks the second lowest in the Eastern Conference.
