The Red Bulls have posted a 9-5-5 mark at home against the Union, which includes a 1-0 win the last time the clubs faced off at Sports Illustrated Stadium on August 16, 2025. Defender Dylan Nealis scored the game-winning goal in that match.
Forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who recorded an assist in New York’s 1-1 draw against Chicago Fire FC on Saturday, also recorded the game-winning assist in the last match against the Union at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
Midfielder Cameron Harper scored his first goal of the season and the equalizer in the Red Bulls’ 1-1 draw against Chicago Fire FC on August 22. Harper has now scored 13 career MLS goals, it was his first since May 31, 2025.
The Roseville, California registered his first career MLS assist against the Union on May 14, 2022. Harper is also two appearances shy of making 100 career MLS appearances.
