Red Bull New York has signed Julian Hall to a new MLS contract, the club announced today. Hall, a Manhattan-native, has signed a four-year MLS contract through 2029-30 season.
The 2026 MLS All-Star will occupy a U-22 initiative spot on New York’s roster. Hall has become the youngest American to sign a U-22 Initiative contract in MLS history at 18 years, 156 days old.
Hall is the first Red Bull New York Academy product to sign a U-22 Initiative deal with the club.
“Julian has become an important part of our first team, and we believe he will continue to play a significant role for us,” Head of Sport Julian de Guzman said. “He has earned the trust of his teammates and coaching staff through his performances, his mentality and the way he continues to grow. This new contract reflects how highly we value Julian and the role we see him playing for our club.”
Hall, 18, is in his fourth season for the Red Bulls, where he has made 56 career appearances for the club. This season, Hall has made 18 appearances and has recorded nine goals and four assists.
The forward became the youngest player in MLS history to record a hat trick at 18 years, 50 days old, after recording one in a 3-2 win over Columbus Crew on May 13. Hall also was named to the 2026 MLS All-Star roster and became the second youngest player in franchise history to be named to an MLS All-Star roster at 18 years, 106 days old.
The Manhattan, N.Y. native made his professional debut for New York on September 30, 2023, when he substituted on in a match against Chicago Fire FC and became the second youngest player in MLS history to appear in a match.
In his first full season for the club in 2024, Hall made 11 appearances and scored his first career MLS goal in a 2-2 draw against CF Montréal on June 19. He became the youngest player in franchise history to score a goal at 16 years, 87 days old and also became the second youngest player in MLS history only behind Freddy Adu.

Hall featured for Red Bull New York II in MLS NEXT Pro from 2023 to 2025, where he made 30 career appearances and tallied 11 goals and two assists. He is also a product of Red Bulls Academy and made 39 appearances for the Academy and scored 28 goals. Hall led the Red Bulls U-15’s to win the 2023 U-15 MLS NEXT Cup for the first time in Academy history and won the MLS NEXT Cup MVP Award after scoring five goals during the tournament.
The forward has represented the United States at the youth national team level, which includes the U-15 and U-17 level. He made three appearances for the U-17’s at the 2025 U-17 FIFA World Cup. Also, Hall helped the U-15’s win the 2023 U-15 CONCACAF Championship and scored three goals during the tournament. Hall has also been called up to Poland Youth National Team camps.
