The New York Red Bulls (6-3-5, 23 pts.) begin a two-match homestand, starting with a battle against Charlotte FC (6-5-3, 21 pts.) on Wednesday, May 29 at Red Bull Arena for the club’s first-ever Bark Night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

This will be the fifth overall regular season meeting between the Red Bulls and Charlotte, with the series being tied with a 1-1-2 mark. Across all competitions, New York have posted a 3-1-2 record against Charlotte FC. This will be the fifth overall match played at home for the Red Bulls against Charlotte and New York has recorded a 3-0-1 mark in those matches. The Red Bulls are currently on an eight-match home unbeaten streak across all competitions and have gone unbeaten in their first five home matches to open up the season. The only year New York have gone unbeaten in their first six home matches to open up a season was in 2012.

Red Bulls forward Elias Manoel has scored six career goals in four career appearances against Charlotte FC. This includes a hat-trick in the 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs Wild Card match, where the Red Bulls won, 5-2 at Red Bull Arena. Besides that match, Manoel has scored three goals in three career MLS matches against Charlotte. The Brazilian forward has recorded a goal or an assist in all three career matches against Charlotte FC at Red Bull Arena.
