MATCH RECAP, pres. by Provident Bank: Red Bulls Rescues Point with Late Leveler

A stoppage time equalizer from Tom Barlow rescued a point for New York in a 1-1 draw against San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night at Red Bull Arena.

After a scoreless first half, San Jose took the lead through Cristian Espinoza in the 80th minute.

As stoppage time wound down, Tom Barlow found himself in the perfect spot for the equalizer. A parried shot from Kyle Duncan fell to Barlow, who scored the equalizer. It was his first goal of the season.

The Red Bulls remain undefeated at home in 2023.
