It looked like it was all over for the Red Bulls on Sunday night against Atlético de San Luis. Until it wasn't.
With the game in the balance at 1-1 late in the match, New York conceded a penalty. A goal that would've likely given San Luis the win and knocked the Red Bulls out of Leagues Cup was denied by goalkeeper Carlos Coronel.
A few minutes later, Dante Vanzeir would turn the whole match around with a goal that secured a 2-1 victory for New York.
The win secured top spot in the Leagues Cup group and a date with NYCFC at Red Bull Arena on Thursday.
