United at home, as Designated Player Claudio Bieler put in a Sonny Saad cross in the 89th minute to earn the hosts the three points. The 2011 and 2012 Eastern Conference regular season champion is unbeaten in its past two matches, going 2-0-2. All-time, New York is 17-18-11 versus the Kansas City MLS franchise and 10-4-8 at home. In 2012, the Red Bulls went 0-1-2 against Sporting, tying 0-0 on Oct. 20 at Red Bull Arena in the last match between the two sides.
