New York Red Bulls Name Stefano Fusaro Digital Correspondent and Spanish Radio Host

Fifteen-year Industry Vet Joins Red Bulls to Expand Bilingual Content Offerings


HARRISON, N.J. (April 7, 2021) ā€“ The New York Red Bulls have named Emmy Award-winning journalist Stefano Fusaro Digital Correspondent and Spanish Radio Host, the club announced today. Fusaro, who brings over fifteen years of experience as a sports journalist, will contribute written, video, and audio content in English and Spanish, and also handle Spanish Play-by-Play for New York Red Bulls Radio broadcasts.

Fusaro will contribute weekly content to NewYorkRedBulls.com in English and Spanish, including written features, interviews, and pre-and post-game reactions. Fusaro will host the twice-monthly RojoXSiempre podcast in Spanish, and also appear regularly on the Red Bulls Weekly podcast with Matt Harmon and Connor Lade.

Fusaro spent the last four years as a national correspondent for ESPN, including two seasons as a sideline reporter for MLS on ESPN. In 2020, he was the only media member embedded inside the MLS is Back Tournament Bubble in Orlando for ESPN, providing on and off-field insight as MLS returned to play.

Fusaro spent nearly a decade as a reporter and sports anchor for Univision and has covered the NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS, NHL, NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball, Boxing, MMA, Liga MX and European Soccer, as well as two Super Bowls, four NBA Finals, and two World Series.

Fusaro will provide play-by-play for Red Bulls Radio broadcasts in Spanish for all Red Bulls matches, including hosting pre- and post-game shows. The Red Bulls Radio Spanish broadcast also serves as the SAP audio for broadcasts on MSG Networks. His play-by-play experience includes time as a Spanish Radio Broadcaster for the Miami Dolphins.
