HARRISON, N.J. (May 26, 2022) –The New York Red Bulls will play New York City FC in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the club announced today.
The Red Bulls will host the match on Wednesday, June 22, at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 PM ET. All matches in the 2022 U.S. Open Cup are available on ESPN+.
Red Members will receive their same seats for this match included in their season ticket package.

New York advanced to the quarterfinals for the 10th time in franchise history after defeating Charlotte FC, 3-1, on Wednesday, May 25 at MSU Soccer Park. Forward Patryk Klimala scored the fastest goal by a Red Bulls player in franchise history for a U.S. Open Cup match and added the game-winning assist.
The match will mark the third time both clubs have met in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and the first time since 2018. The Red Bulls have a mark of 2-0-0 against NYCFC in Open Cup play and this will be the first time they have met in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
