The 7th Annual RDS Spring Invitational took place at the Red Bulls Training Facility in Whippany, NJ across two weekends this year, May 4th and May 10th, 2025, marking the event’s continued growth and popularity.
This invite-only, no-registration-fee tournament brought together 12 teams in each of the U10 and U11 age groups, reflecting the expanding interest in this high-level, development-focused competition. As always, the emphasis remained on player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, with no official standings recorded.
U11 teams took the field on Saturday, May 4th, under near-perfect spring conditions, delivering a showcase of impressive skill, pace, and passion. A week later, on Saturday, May 10th, the U10 teams brought their energy and excitement to the pitch, wrapping up the second weekend with enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
Following each match, coaches selected two standout players from the opposing side who demonstrated exceptional skill, effort, or sportsmanship. These players earned points toward the coveted MVP recognition, a hallmark of the Invitational's commitment to rewarding individual excellence in a team-first environment.
This year’s MVPs were celebrated in unforgettable fashion as they were recognized on the field during the New York Red Bulls vs LA Galaxy match at Red Bull Arena on the evening of May 10th. The night was made even more memorable as the Red Bulls delivered a stunning 7-0 victory, turning the recognition ceremony into an electric, high-energy celebration for players, families, and fans alike.
