Red Bull Arena to host annual Harrison and Kearny soccer matches on September 27th

HARRISON, NJ (September 19th, 2014) – The New York Red Bulls announced today that Red Bull Arena will play host to the annual Harrison-Kearny high school soccer matches on Saturday, September 27. The girls game will kick off at 12:00 PM followed by the boys match at 2:00 PM.


“We’re excited to once again be hosting two of our most storied local high schools soccer teams here at Red Bull Arena,” said Head of Commercial Operations Marc de Grandpre. “This is an amazing opportunity for student-athletes in our community to play in the greatest soccer stadium in North America.  We look forward to welcoming the boys and girls teams along with their families and friends to Red Bull Arena.”


"The Harrison / Kearny game is the longest running rivalry in New Jersey high school soccer, stretching back almost 100 years. We're happy to now include the New York Red Bulls into our tradition and we hope that this partnership will continue for many years to come," said Michael Rusek, Boys Soccer Coach, Harrison High School.


Admission to the games will be $5 for adults and $3 for students with doors opening at 11:30 AM. Each school will have an allotted amount of tickets available for purchase through their respective athletic departments. Fans can also buy tickets via the Red Bull Arena box office.
