June marked another successful month for Red Bulls Academy players that are spending time with Red Bulls II. The month saw another first professional goal along with a historic professional debut. Look at how each Red Bulls Academy player did in the four matches in June:

Sam Williams – Appeared in and started all four matches during the month of June, playing 352 of a possible 360 minutes. Williams also scored his first professional goal on June 2 against San Diego Loyal SC. The 17-year-old is the only player to appear in every match this season for New York and is the youngest in USL Championship to record at least 1,000 minutes on the season.

Nate Worth – Made his professional debut on June 25 against El Paso Locomotive FC. He started the match and played the first half, becoming the youngest player in club history to start in their professional debut. He is also the youngest player to appear in a match this season across USL Championship. At 15 years and 120 days old, Worth is the second-youngest player to appear in a match for Red Bulls II, only trailing Serge Ngoma.

Illia Tyrkus – Appeared in three matches as a substitute and logged 55 minutes. On June 6, USL Championship announced his first professional goal had won the league’s Goal of the Month for May. Tyrkus has logged 208 minutes over nine matches so far this season.
