HARRISON, NJ (October 19, 2012) – The New York Red Bulls announced that their final home regular season match against Eastern Conference-leading Sporting Kansas City at Red Bull Arena tomorrow, Oct. 20 at 7:00 PM is sold out. Fans attending the match are strongly encouraged to arrive early and utilize public transportation.
The game will be shown live on MSG+, with a 30-minute pre-game show to air starting at 6:30 PM. New York can clinch a playoff spot for the third consecutive year and ninth time in the past 10 seasons with a win against Sporting KC. The Red Bulls would also earn a playoff spot if the sixth place Columbus Crew failed to beat D.C. United at RFK Stadium on Oct. 20. If the Red Bulls tied Sporting Kansas City, a Crew tie versus United would be enough for New York to go through.
