MIKE PETKE
On Mike Magee:

Mike’s a special player, you know? He’s very successful playing in this league. He finds those pockets and those spaces that make defenders think twice about having to go or not and that’s where his success comes from. His ability on the ball once he gets the ball is something that we have to keep an eye on. It’s not somebody that we’re focusing solely on, but for sure, he’s one of the players that we need to keep an eye on at all times.

TIM CAHILL
On what’s important to keep winning:

Our intensity. You know tomorrow we’ve got to come out firing. Chicago haven’t won a game this year, but that’s not because they’re a bad team. They’re been very unlucky, you know, instances in games where it’s changed from – and you know we were in that position at the start of the season. We have to come out on fire. We’ve been training really well this week and we had a difficult game last week in Dallas and we’ve come through that. Now it’s all about us, you know, because when this team gets confidence we’re a pretty frightening team and once we start pushing the ball I think goals will always come. We’ve played some good football in patches and now it’s about continuing the run.

DAX MCCARTY
On the pressure of playing a winless team:

Yeah, I think that’s honestly the worst thing that could’ve happened to us, at least obviously Chicago [Fire] don’t want to be in the position that they’re in, at home with a 2-0 lead and then you give up three goals in the last 20 minutes, that’s definitely not a position that you want to put yourself in. So for us that just means they’re going to be that much hungrier, especially with the fact that we pretty much knocked them out of the playoffs last year with our win at home. So, yeah, I think it’s going to be a tough game, every game in MLS is always the same, you know you’re going to have to fight, have to battle, but I think we’re on our home pitch now and I think for us we have to take the game to them, we have to make sure we’re on the front foot, we can’t sit back, we have to press them high up the field, make sure that we’re obviously focused on their playmakers because guys like [Mike] Magee and [Patrick] Nyarko are very dangerous players but I think we’re at home and obviously we expect three points.

THIERRY HENRY
On Mike Magee and what to look out for against Chicago:

Well we played them. They scored on a set piece against us and, I felt that we played well in the first half, it was a kind of weird second half. They didn’t win, I know that, but they drew a lot of games, they had the possibility of winning some like that other day against [Real] Salt Lake they went 2-nil up and collapsed in the last minute, so we’re aware about they’re qualities and what they can do, we know that, we play them a lot during the year to know that. But, they’re going to want to win soon so hopefully it won’t happen on Saturday.
