U-13 Red Bulls Academy to Play in Algarve U-13 Elite Cup 2026 in Silves, Portugal

HARRISON, N.J. (March 9, 2026) – U-13 Red Bulls Academy set to play in Algarve U-13 Elite Cup 2026 in Silves, Portugal from March 13 to March 15. 

Through 12 MLS NEXT league matches the squad is second in the Quality of Play rankings for the Northeast Division. The side is coming off a 12-0 victory over Rochester NY FC on February 28 and are unbeaten in their last six league matches, including scoring five or more goals in three of their last four matches. 

The Red Bulls Academy is the only American team in the competition, and it’ll be the first time they have participated. 

The squad was drawn into Group A and will open play with three matches on Friday, March 13. First, they’ll face English side Crewe Alexandra at 5:30 a.m ET, and then will play English club Top Ballerz FC at 7 a.m. ET and wrap up the day against Israeli side Petak Tikva at 11 a.m. ET. 

On day two they’ll play three more matches with the first match against Portuguese club Sporting CP at 6 a.m. ET. The second match they’ll face English side Arsenal at 8:30 a.m. ET, and the squad will complete play against Dutch club Go Ahead Eagles at 1 p.m. ET.
