Red Bulls Youth Programs head into 2024 boasting record-breaking numbers across the board.Â
With more youth players participating in RBYP programs than ever before, the team of over 180 community-based coaches has had their work cut out for them, as they continue on their mission to inspire, unite, and engage the community through innovative soccer experiences.
With this in mind, RBYP closed out 2023 with their first-ever coaches’ awards, designed to recognize and reward those who have made the biggest impact on their respective communities.
Featuring a range of categories that reflect the varied demands of a youth soccer coach, the awards were presented not only to the top-performing coaches in each of RBYP’s five geographic regions, but also to those who excelled in club development, player connection, or commitment to - and embodiment of - New York Red Bull’s core values of Ambition, Integrity, and Teamwork.
RBYP is proud to recognize the following coaches as the inaugural winners of the Coach of the Year awards:
• Region 1 Coach of the Year (South & Central NJ): Nicholas Turick
• Region 2 Coach of the Year (North & West NJ): Felix Benitez
• Region 3 Coach of the Year (New York City, Hudson & Bergen counties): Kamil Erman Artan
• Region 4 Coach of the Year (Westchester, Putnam & Rockland counties): Mohammed Ait-Nouri
• Region 5 Coach of the Year (Brooklyn, Queens & Long Island): Menguilibe Tchendie
• Coaches’ Coach of the Year: Gabriel Jurkic
• Summer Camp Coach of the Year: Yosman Colmenares Rivas
• Rookie Coach of the Year: Andriy Moisyeyenkov
• Club Developer of the Year: Jeffrey Peattie
• Player Connection Award: Roy Muriel
• All-In Award: Roberto Guzman
