Prior to New York
Che spent three seasons with Brøndby IF, with loan spells at ADO Den Haag and Patro Eisden. In 2025, he made 15 appearances for Patro Eisden, recording four clean sheets. During the 2023–24 season, he made 21 appearances and added two assists for ADO Den Haag. Prior to Europe, he signed with FC Dallas as a Homegrown Player in 2020, making 15 MLS appearances with three assists, after logging 16 appearances and earning USL League One All-League honors with North Texas SC. He also had loan stints with Bayern Munich II and TSG Hoffenheim, making two Bundesliga appearances and 24 appearances for Hoffenheim II, where he recorded one goal and one assist.
International ExperienceÂ
Che has represented the United States at the U-16 and U-20 levels, earning 10 caps with the U-20s. He was part of the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup squad, helping the team reach the quarterfinals, and scored his first youth international goal in a Round of 16 win over New Zealand.
Academy Experience
Che developed through the FC Dallas Academy, where he established himself as one of the top defensive prospects in the United States. He progressed through the academy ranks before signing a Homegrown contract with FC Dallas in 2020 and beginning his professional career with North Texas SC.Â
Acquired
Red Bull New York completed the transfer of Justin Che from Brøndby IF on December 16, 2025. Signed to a 3 year MLS Contract through 2028 with an option for 2029.
