Stroud played three seasons at Duke University, where he made 55 appearances and recorded six goals and 12 assists...he was named ACC Midfielder of the Year twice and is the first player in ACC history to win it in back-to-back years...earned All-ACC First Team honors twice, United Soccer Coaches All-America First Team, All-South Region First Team twice, and was named Duke's Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the 2020 season...helped lead Duke to the National Quarterfinals of the 2022 College Cup.

Stroud was a member of New York Red Bulls Academy after joining the Academy from Players Development Academy...he started with the U-12's and played three seasons before moving to West Ham United in England...he featured for their U-18 and U-23 sides, made his debut for West Ham at 16-years-old in a 1-0 victory over Swansea...played for the Red Bulls U-23's, where he made 10 appearances and tallied one assists...ranked the No. 1 prospect in USL League Two in May of 2022.
