The New York Red Bulls face Sporting Kansas City at Red Bull Arena on Saturday, April 9, at 7 p.m. ET (TV: MSG 2, RADIO: Red Bulls Radio English/Spanish on TuneIn). After last week’s rough showing against the New England Revolution, the Red Bulls need to capitalize and grab three points at home.

Here are some numbers you should know ahead of Saturday’s clash with Sporting Kansas City:


4: Bradley Wright-Phillips scored four goals in four days against Kansas City in 2014. He scored two goals against Sporting KC in the final match of the regular season to tie the MLS league record for goals in a season, and added two more four days later in the knockout round of the MLS Cup Playoffs to eliminate SKC.


6: New York leads Kansas City by six wins in their all-time record at home. They are 11-5-8 all-time in home matches against SKC.


7: Bradley Wright-Phillips has seven shots on goal so far this season, but has been unable to convert his opportunities. Wright-Phillips scored 17 goals last season, coming in fifth place on the 2015 MLS scoring leaders list.


15: The Red Bulls showed their multi-headed attack last season when 15 different players registered a goal in MLS action. Four players, Bradley Wright-Philips, Sacha Kljestan, Mike Grella and Lloyd Sam, all recorded at least seven goals and seven assists. This season, New York has had three different goal scorers in four games.


45: New York has played three scoreless first halves in their first four games. The Red Bulls have neither scored nor conceded in the first 45 minutes, with their only exception being their 4-3 game against the Houston Dynamo.
