Red Bull Arena to Host Inter Milan, Estudiantes for International Club Friendly

HARRISON, N.J. (July 7, 2016) – Red Bull Arena is set to host Italian club F.C. Internazionale and Argentine side Estudiantes de La Plata for an international friendly on July 27, the organizations announced today. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m.


New York Red Bulls Red Members will have exclusive access to a pre-sale today, July 7, beginning at 4 p.m. ET, and lasting until Tomorrow, July 8 at 10 a.m. ET.


Tickets will go on-sale for the general public tomorrow, Friday July 8, at 10 a.m. ET., at the end of the Red Member pre-sale.


Inter, managed by Roberto Mancini, have won 39 major trophies in 108 years. The club has won 18 league titles in the top-flight of Italian football, including five consecutive league titles from 2006 to 2010. Inter is the only Italian team to have never been relegated. The club has won the UEFA Champions League three times, most recently in 2010, when Inter achieved the Treble, winning the domestic league, the National Cup and the Champions League in the same season.


Estudiantes, founded in 1905 and chaired by Juan Sebastián Verón, former player of Inter, compete in Argentina’s Primera División and have also won numerous trophies in domestic and international competition. Estudiantes has won the modern Torneo Apertura, the first competition of the Primera División season, as well as being a four-time winner of the Copa Libertadores, CONMEBOL’s international club competition. Estudiantes were also Club World Champions in 1968.
