HARRISON, N.J. (March 17, 2017) - The New York Red Bulls are in Seattle this weekend to take on defending MLS Cup Champion Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, with coverage on FS1, Fox Deportes and New York Red Bulls Radio.

New York Red Bulls Radio gets underway with Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon, at 6:30 p.m. The match will also be available on Sirius XM FC Channel 85.

New York heads to Seattle as one of four teams in MLS, and the only team in the Eastern Conference, that has won its first two matches. It is the third time the club has won two consecutive out of the gate. New York has never started the season with three-straight wins.

New York also enters the weekend on an 18-game unbeaten streak in the MLS regular season, dating back to July of 2016. The all-time MLS record is 19 games, shared by Columbus and FC Dallas. Columbus’ streak also spanned two seasons.

The Red Bulls won the MLS home opener last weekend with a 1-0 win over the Colorado Rapids. Luis Robles recorded his 40th career shutout and 68th career win, extending his own franchise records.

Robles set another MLS record last weekend with his 142nd consecutive league game played, breaking Chris Klein’s record.

The game-winner was a Colorado own-goal just before the end of the first half, when a Sal Zizzo cross into the path of Danny Royer was knocked in by a defender.

New York is 4-3-3 all-time against Sounders FC, and 1-3-1 at CenturyLink Field. Last season, the Red Bulls downed Seattle on the strength of a Mike Grella brace at Red Bull Arena on June 19. The Red Bulls’ lone win in Seattle came back in 2010, a 1-0 affair with a goal from Macoumba Kandji.

The Red Bulls return home next Saturday, March 25, to host Real Salt Lake. Kick off is set for 4 p.m. ET, with coverage on UniMas and Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish.
