HARRISON, N.J. (March 30, 2017) – The New York Red Bulls (2-1-1, 7 pts) travel to Texas to face off against the Houston Dynamo (2-1-0, 6 pts) on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET at BBVA Compass Stadium, with coverage on MSG and Red Bulls Radio.

Saturday’s match will be the first of 19 games covered by MSG in 2017 and will begin at 8 p.m. ET with the pregame show. Jonathan Yardley will have the play-by-play responsibilities while Shep Messing will serve as the analyst and Tina Cervasio as the in-studio host.

Red Bulls Radio gets underway with Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon, at 8 p.m. ET. Harmon will call the game in English while Ernesto Motta provides Spanish play-by-play.

The New York Red Bulls begin the first of three back-to-back road trips, starting with Houston (April 1) and Orlando (April 9). Under head coach Jesse Marsch, the Red Bulls are 5-7-6 when traveling for two matches or more. New York has come away with at least one point in seven of its nine back-to-back road trips under Marsch.

The Red Bulls will play five matches in the month of April, beginning with Houston on April 1. New York is 37-32-20 all-time and 3-4-3 under head coach Jesse Marsch during the fourth month of the year. The Red Bulls have outscored its opponent, 121-106, in the month of April.

Bradley Wright-Phillips, who signed a new multi-year contract with the Red Bulls this week, returns to the stadium where he recorded many of his first offensive outputs. The forward tallied his first MLS assist at BBVA Compass against the Dynamo on Sept. 8, 2013 and then later scored his first MLS goal on October 20 at the same location. Wright-Phillips also recorded his first career MLS hat trick against the Dynamo at Red Bull Arena on April 23, 2014.

Luis Robles extended his MLS record last weekend with his 144th consecutive MLS regular season start. The iron man streak surpassed that of Chris Klein, who appeared in 141 straight. Robles recorded his second clean sheet of 2017 with four saves against Real Salt Lake, bringing his career total to 41.

With just four matches under the belt of the 2017 campaign, the New York Red Bulls have been able to integrate their homegrown players, not just with playing time, but as starters. On Saturday versus Real Salt Lake, three of the 11 Red Bull starters were homegrown players as Tyler Adams, Connor Lade and Alex Muyl found themselves in the Starting XI.

New York will wrap up its two-match road trip when it travels to Florida for a matchup against Orlando City SC on April 9.
