HARRISON, N.J. (MAY 26, 2017) – New York Red Bulls II (3-5-2, 11 points) welcome the Charleston Battery (7-1-2, 23 points) to MSU Soccer Park Sunday featuring two of the USL’s highest scoring teams, NYRB II, and the first place side in the Eastern Conference, Charleston Battery. Sunday’s matchday also allows all kids 12 and under free admission.

Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. and can be watched via the USL Match Center.

New York looks to snap a three-game losing streak after falling to Ottawa Fury FC last weekend 4-3.

A trio of NYRB II players scored with Ben Mines notching his first USL goal on the year.

Statistically, Red Bulls II currently sit fifth in the USL in goals scored with 19, but have allowed 22, one more than the 2016 Red Bulls II allowed all last year.

Red Bulls II will rely on the duo of Brandon Allen and Vincent Bezecourt, who both sit atop the leaderboards in the USL with Allen being tied for third with six goals and Bezecourt being tied for second in assists with four.

Sunday’s game will round out their current three-game homestand.

Charleston comes into the match in red-hot form going 3-2-0 in their past five matches including a 1-0 road win Thursday over Bethlehem Steel FC.

In 2016, Charleston were the only USL side to defeat NYRB II at home.
