There’s a new face in camp with the New York Red Bulls: Alexy Bosetti.

The former French youth international completed his second training session with the Red Bulls on Wednesday, which head coach Jesse Marsch regarded as ‘two really good days.’

“We’ll have another two days to evaluate, but so far I’d say it’s been a good visit for him and he’s a good guy,” Marsch said. “He’s got personality, which we like.”

When asked where he sees him fitting into the team, Marsch said he’s a wide player and that he’s ‘very likeable.’

“We’ve talked to him a little about how we play and I want to give him a chance to just get to know us a little bit,” Marsch said.

Bosetti is a product of the OGC Nice academy in France, and made 75 appearances with the team in four seasons before being loaned out to Norway last season.

Marsch and the Red Bulls have not yet reached a decision on Bosetti’s future with the club, and will continue to evaluate him as the week goes on.

“We’ll finish up the cut in the next couple days and we’ll have to make a decision.”
