The New York Red Bulls will face the Philadelphia Union for the third time this season on Wednesday night, and will show a bit of a different hand in the Round of 16 of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

New York's Starting XI will include Ryan Meara in goal, fresh off a shutout in the Open Cup against New York City FC. It was the goalkeeper’s first start and first win of the year.

Damien Perrinelle, Aurelien Collin, Aaron Long, Kemar Lawrence and Sal Zizzo will all be on the pitch for the first whistle.

Also wearing white at the 0:00 mark: Tyler Adams, Sacha Kljestan, Felipe, Sean Davis and Bradley Wright-Phillips.

Kljestan has recorded four goals and four assists against the Union in eight MLS games.

Finishing out the roster for New York, and available off the bench, Luis Robles, Brandon Allen, Dan Metzger, Derrick Etienne, Jr., Connor Lade, Daniel Royer and Gonzalo Veron.

In the club’s previous MLS meeting with Philly, all three Red Bulls substitutes earned assists. Veron (2), Lawrence (1) and Zizzo (1) all entered the game in the second half and setup Wright-Phillips’ two goals.

Due to U.S. Open Cup rules, professional teams "may have no more than 5 foreign players listed." (Foreign players shall be those players who are not protected individuals (e.g. U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, asylees and refugees).)

Alex Muyl is away from the team due to personal reasons.
