HARRISON, N.J. (July 3, 2017) – Looking to climb above the red line in the Eastern Conference standings, the New York Red Bulls (7-8-2, 23 pts) travel to Gillette Stadium to face the New England Revolution (5-8-5, 20 pts) on Wednesday. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on MSG, MSG GO and New York Red Bulls Radio on Tunein.

New York Red Bulls Radio gets underway with triHonda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon, at 7 p.m. ET. Harmon will call the match in English with Steve Jolley as the analyst, while Ernesto Motta will have the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities.

New York aims to continue its winning ways on the road after taking three points from Philadelphia on June 18 at Talen Energy Stadium. The Red Bulls were able to snap their six-match road losing streak against the Union as Bradley Wright-Phillips found the back twice in the final five minutes.

Wednesday’s match will be the second time these two Eastern Conference foes have clashed. The Red Bulls took the first match, 2-1 at Red Bull Arena on May 27. New England’s Lee Nguyen put the Revolution up early, 1-0 after capitalizing on a penalty-kick attempt. New York, however, flipped the switch in the second half as Wright-Phillips back-heeled his lone goal in the 47th minute to level the game, 1-1. Then in the 74th minute, Kemar Lawrence placed a perfect pass across the six-yard box for Daniel Royer to send in the game winner.

The all-time series between New York and New England heavily favors the home team, as the Red Bulls own a 20-8-8 mark at home, while the Revolution are 21-5-7. The last time the road team has stolen points was on June 8, 2014 as the Red Bulls came away with three points, defeating New England, 2-0 at Gillette Stadium.

New York will return to Massachusetts to face New England in the U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals on Thursday, July 13 at Harvard’s Jordan Field.
