HARRISON, N.J. (July 20, 2017) – The New York Red Bulls (9-8-2) have a quick turnaround as they travel to face Minnesota United FC (5-11-4) on Saturday at TCF Bank Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET with coverage on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.

New York Red Bulls Radio gets underway with triHonda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon, at 3:30 p.m. ET. Harmon will have the English play-by-play responsibilities.

New York has hit the ground running in the second half of the season, winning back-to-back MLS regular-season matches to move above the red line and sit fifth in the Eastern Conference. The Red Bulls have outscored their last two opponents, 8-3.

Despite the quick turnaround, New York looks to maintain their most recent road success against Minnesota. The Red Bulls, having won one road match in first seven road contests of 2017, have won their last two road games by a combined score of 5-2. New York, with three road wins through July 19, did not win their third road match in 2016 until October 23.

The New York Red Bulls and Minnesota United FC will face off for the first time on Saturday at TCF Bank Stadium. Minnesota is in its first year in MLS, while New York has been in the league since its inception in 1996. The Red Bulls face their second expansion squad in 2017 as they opened up the season at Atlanta. New York earned a 2-1 win over Atlanta United FC.

Daniel Royer continues to flourish in his second season as a Red Bull, as he is second on the squad with seven goals. The Austrian winger has scored in back-to-back matches and in four of the last eight. Two of Royer’s five goals this season have been late-match heroics as his goal in the 76th minute against Atlanta evened the match and his goal against New England in the 74th minute was the game winner.

New York returns to Red Bull Arena to host Montreal on Saturday, July 29. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.
